“Laptops in 10 Minutes: PC Makers Join the Quick Commerce Revolution. Top brands like HP, Lenovo, Acer, and Asus now offer their products on quick commerce platforms in India for ultra-fast delivery.”

PC Makers Tap Quick Commerce Platforms for Laptop Sales in India
In a strategic move to adapt to the evolving e-commerce landscape, several leading personal computer (PC) manufacturers in India, including HP, Lenovo, Acer, and Asus, have started listing their products on quick commerce platforms. These platforms, known for delivering groceries, daily essentials, and smartphones in under 10 minutes, are now venturing into high-value electronic categories like laptops.
Over the past month, companies like HP and Acer have partnered with platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, and Flipkart Minutes to offer their laptops, accessories, and other electronic products. This marks a shift in the distribution strategy of PC makers as they explore new growth channels to meet the growing demand for faster delivery of electronics.
Major Partnerships
HP, the market leader in India’s PC industry, has collaborated with Blinkit to sell laptops, monitors, printers, and other accessories. Vineet Gehani, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP India, stated, “The initial response has been promising. We are gradually diversifying our presence on quick commerce platforms to better understand consumer behavior and preferences.”
Similarly, Acer has listed a limited range of products, including laptops, on Zepto and Flipkart Minutes in select locations. Acer is also in discussions with Blinkit to expand its offerings, which could include monitors, tablets, and accessories. Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, expressed confidence in this new sales channel, noting that quick commerce platforms are solving challenges related to inventory management and last-mile delivery for high-value items like laptops and tablets.
Testing Demand with Accessories
While HP and Acer are offering laptops on quick commerce platforms, other manufacturers like Asus and Lenovo are testing demand by listing smaller accessories such as keyboards, mice, and printers. Asus recently partnered with Zepto to make these accessories available in cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PC, Asus India, said the company plans to expand to other platforms like Blinkit and Instamart to reach more customers.
Lenovo, on the other hand, is offering smaller items such as tablets and accessories on quick commerce platforms while observing the demand for larger-ticket items. Dinesh Nair, Director of Consumer Business at Lenovo India, highlighted the popularity of the Lenovo Tab M11 on Zepto and expressed optimism about scaling this channel further.
Quick Commerce as a Growth Opportunity
India’s PC market is growing steadily. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), the country shipped 4.49 million units in the third quarter of 2024, with HP leading the market at 29% share, followed by Lenovo, Dell, and Acer.
At the same time, India’s quick commerce market, valued at $5.5 billion, is providing an emerging opportunity for PC makers to reach a niche audience. Traditional e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart have faced challenges in meeting the growing demand for faster deliveries, which quick commerce players aim to address.
“Quick commerce is not a threat to traditional platforms but an additional channel to reach consumers who require faster delivery for products beyond daily essentials,” said Arnold Su of Asus India.
Early Days for Laptops in Quick Commerce
Despite the opportunities, laptops and other big-ticket items currently make up a small portion of sales on quick commerce platforms. Analysts predict that this category will account for only 2-3% of total quick commerce sales in the medium term.
Scaling this category will require quick commerce players to address challenges such as inventory selection and logistics. However, PC makers remain optimistic, with many viewing quick commerce as a long-term growth channel.
“This depends on how well quick commerce players can address the need for a larger selection while maintaining the convenience of fast delivery,” said Sudhir Goel of Acer India.
For now, quick commerce remains an additional channel for PC makers to expand their presence, complementing offline retail and traditional e-commerce platforms. Whether laptops will become a significant category in quick commerce is uncertain, but the shift highlights the growing demand for faster and more convenient delivery solutions in India’s evolving e-commerce market.
